These terms apply when a school, ECE, business, or community organiser (referred to here as "you" or the "event organiser") submits a booking request for a pony ride event with In GoodTime HorsePark, trading as The Riding Kid Club.
Requesting a booking
Submitting our booking form is a request, not a confirmed booking. We'll review your request and contact you to confirm availability, final pricing, and event details. A booking is only confirmed once we've told you so directly.
Pricing
Our starting package is $690 NZD for two ponies and two hours of pony ride activity. Additional ponies are approximately $100 each. Travel costs may apply depending on your event's location and will be confirmed with you as part of your booking. We service South Auckland, and are happy to discuss events further afield on request. Final, confirmed pricing for your specific event will be provided in writing before your booking is confirmed.
What we need from you
To plan your event safely, we ask for accurate information about your event space — including surface type and the space available — along with your event date, time, and expected number of attendees. If the space available on the day differs materially from what was described, we may need to adjust the activity for safety reasons.
Safety and supervision
Our handler team follows established safety practices, including Safe Zone and Danger Zone guidance around the ponies, and each rider is accompanied by a handler. That said, ponies are animals, and pony rides carry an inherent degree of risk that cannot be entirely removed. Parents, guardians, or appropriately authorised supervising adults remain responsible for the general supervision of their own children at your event, alongside our handler team's role during the pony ride activity itself.
Weather and event conditions
Our activities take place outdoors. In the event of unsafe weather or ground conditions, we may need to adjust, shorten, or in rare cases postpone the pony ride activity for the safety of the ponies, handlers, and children. We'll discuss this with you as early as possible if it looks likely to affect your event.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our arrangements. Cancellation terms, including any applicable fees for late cancellation, will be confirmed with you in writing at the time your booking is confirmed.
Payment
Payment terms and timing will be confirmed with you as part of your booking confirmation.
Photos and event moments
We may photograph or film pony ride activity at your event for use on our website, social media, and promotional material. If you'd prefer this not to happen at your event, please let us know when confirming your booking.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, In GoodTime HorsePark's liability in connection with a booked event is limited to the value of the booking. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law. Event organisers hosting a public or community event may wish to hold their own event insurance; we're happy to discuss what's involved on our side if that's useful for your own insurance arrangements.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
